Notes by Martin FlatmanBA in Philosophy and Politics from Hull University.Married Frances in 1968. Trained at Cuddesdon College, Oxford to become a C of E clergyman. Two sons - Sam (1972) and Joe (1976). Jobs as a Clergyman: Reading (1971-1976), Newbury (1976-1982) and Oxford (1982-1994) On General Synod of the Church of England from 1990-1994 Left the C of E and became a Catholic in 1994 - only time I hit the News! Retrained to become a Catholic Priest 1994-1997 whilst working part-time at Oxford Brookes University Dispensation from the Pope to be ordained as a Married Catholic Priest 1997 Catholic Chaplain of Oxford Brookes University 1997 - present Also Priest-in-Charge of St Peter's Catholic Church, Eynsham 2005 - present. Now living in Eynsham (address below)
